I did not know about the website... but it all makes sense now! And its already happening.

Watch this video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVZU7h0A1AY

And according to websites and a magazine in Germany called Bravo they are in New York City RIGHT NOW working on a tv show.

I have been reading this bulletin board all morning cause I was doing other research. But I see that one person on here in another entry thinks that Lou Pearlman is NOT connected to this band. That is incorrect and I am going to correct that in the thread I saw it in!

Lou IS making money again. Why isnt the trustee paying attention to that instead of doing clawback claims? I have a theory that no one seems to disagree with. Ill make that a new thread!

My initial reaction to the website was that I thought it was a spoof. However, I vaguely recalled the name Ken Schwartz and have come to the conclusion that he is the latest Pearlman stooge to come forward to share in Lou Pearlman's fantasy world. What is most disturbing is that he is an attorney and should know better.

My first and foremost thought is for the victims of Pearlman's Ponzi scheme. How is this movement going to bring them relief and closure? It DOESN'T!!! Pearlman's success relied upon the talents of many people who would no longer support any efforts on his behalf to have his sentence shortened by even one day. There is no viable plan that would fairly dispense any money that Pearlman could raise, if any. Doesn't Schwartz realize that almost $ 1/2 billion would need to be raised, and in a failing economy?

One of the reasons for this economic downturn is due to the selfishness of such criminals as Pearlman and Bernie Madoff. Should Madoff be released from prison as well? I'm sure his victims would be thrilled with such news. The premise of Lou's early release is a joke. There would be no benefit to anyone with the exceptions of Pearlman and Schwartz and anyone else that Pearlman is trying to recruit to help him in his latest scheme (scam). Have you heard about the group that he would like to promote?

'Nuff said!!!

Being in jail is punishment but having known Pearlman for over a half a century, I know that he has a history of trying to weasel out of any negative circumstance...using lies, deceptions, and false promises. I wonder if his move from a Georgia prison back to Coleman in Florida was a deal he cut for his testimony against an alleged cop killer. He's always wheeling and dealing so that this would not surprise me. Apparently Schwartz has not thought through this very well because he was probably given the full Pearlman treatment in order for this to have even gone this far.

While the website is appealing to the victims by making Lou look like a victim himself, this is such nonsense. The key for me was the fact the this attorney read Tyler Gray's book as a Pearlman bashing effort and ignored the thorough research that the author conducted. I am sure that a lot of damaging material was omitted for various reasons as well. However, who can forget this quote from Pearlman's own twisted autobiography, "My idea of hell would be to know that I'd have to face elderly aunts or uncles who've had to go on welfare because they believed in me and I let them down. I couldn't live with that. I'd move to a remote desert island rather than face that."??? Does anyone reading this want to give Lou a second chance...to get to that remote desert island?

Apparently, the people behind the effort to have Pearlman released early have had little or no contact with Pearlman's victims. As someone who has spoken to many people who were wronged by Pearlman in one way or another, I see this attempt as pouring salt into wounds that may have been starting to heal. The road to hell is paved with good intentions but assisting Pearlman with his schemes is not a good idea. He is not worthy. I look forward to reading how others react to this effort. I truly hope everyone is well and in good health and spirits.

Hi everyone,

This website was brought to our attention - http://freelouispearlman.com/index.html

There is also this one which just seems like the same thing with a different format and not as populated with text:
http://www.freepoppa.com/Home.html

We personally feel that Lou is as slippery as an eel, and although we'd love to see some resitution there is no amount of supervision that will be enough to ensure that Lou doesn't skip town or, even worse, run another scam. We just wonder what everyone else thinks and whether any of you have ever heard of Ken Schwartz and whether he has indeed been linked with Lou or any of his associates before.
